Accept/handle email submissions
It is great that candidates can submit their resumes via the web form, but it would also be nice if Resumator could process email submissions too. Just assume that the email is the "cover letter" field, and the attachment is the resume (if doc/pdf, otherwise just attach it/them as generic file(s)).

Candidate can submit resume without applying to job
We would like candidates to have the ability to submit their resume without applying for a specific job.

Allow "macros" to automate inviting to interview, rejecting, etc
We have a high volume of applicants. Once we've reviewed them it'd be great if there were two configurable buttons: Invite to Interview and Reject - each would send the candidate a form letter AND change their status.

Google Apps integration (single sign on)
Exactly what we can do with UserVoice. Our team does not want more logins to manage.

Prevent duplicate submissions
We sometimes get people submitting twice in a row, or people who submit their resume once or twice per day! Maybe a per-job-listing limit on the number of times a person with a specific email address can submit a resume?

ability to forward emails to a candidate's "file"
At some point in the hiring process, communication ends up falling back to regular old email--and then I have communications in both theresumator and in my email client. It would be better to keep all the hiring communication history in one place.
If I could forward email from my account (known to theresumator) to the theresumator, it could file it in the appropriate candidate's communications history based on their email address. That should be a 90% solution and good enough. The 10% (where the candidate might not be readily identified) could be dumped in an Inbox where I could assign… more

Quick Add of Applicants
I want to add applicants easier...Just First Name, Last Name, e-mail address, and upload resume to start. Then I can add more later. (Address, phone, etc.)

API for submitting resumes
We'd like to be able to host the form on our site without using javascript insertion (and the associated style challenges).

Notification Emails & Daily Digest
Instead of only controlling WHO gets emailed when new resumes are submitted, I'd like to be able to control the frequency of the emails. I don't need one email for every resume submission and would prefer a daily or weekly digest email option. Also, it would be useful to set an account level default for emials but then override it by job description so I can set certain high volume jobs with a daily digest email and others with different email frequency and destination preferences.

Add date filter to "Total Applicants, by Job" report
It's really difficult to get a simple count of the number of new applications that were received between specific dates, like a calendar month. The only way right now seems to be through the "Total Applicants, by Source" report and then add up all the sources manually.

Put resume & form response directly in email
I don't want to have to log in to see the resume and their answers to their form fields. Also, I want to forward the resume and their responses to the CRM tool we use for managing applicant info (Highrise)

New Status - "Not hired - position filled"
I recently closed out a position as I was able to make the hire successfully.
However I am left with a pile of candidates in "New" status that I never got the chance to view. I don't want to Delete these, in case I may want them later.
There doesn't seem to be a good disposition for this. They are clearly not hired, but not for the reasons present (Underqualified, Not a fit, etc).
Therefore I would request addition of a new status "Not Hired | Position Filled"

Integrate an online document signing application
We'd like to be able to send employment forms to candidates-for-hire that they e-sign. There are already lots of applications to manage that (EchoSign, DocuSign, etc.), but a tight integration with candidate info in The Resumator would be excellent (as in, the signed document would automatically be added to a candidate's record).

Create Not Hired status for unresponsive candidates
We have candidates who have applied for positions but have not responded to our correspondence. We'd like to "close" these candidates, but not delete them from our system. However, there is not currently a "Not Hired" status that seems to cover this--"Not a fit" and "not qualified" don't really work.

Logged in landing page is cluttered
When I'm already logged in, the landing page is super cluttered and my eyes have a hard time finding the menu on the right hand side.

Ability to HIDE applications, not delete
Right now, there are a number of applicants for my jobs, but I would like to hide the ones that I have already actioned to a terminal state (e.g., not hired, not appropriate, hired, etc). Can there be a display state for this?

Additional Sourcing reports needed!
We're trying to evaluate a number of recruiting sources currently. It would be extremely useful to have a sourcing report across all jobs, or all jobs with a selected status and date range. We're trying to understand the total number of applicant per source per month.

Provide HTML code for "public" calendar events which can be inserted into our website.
Love the new Calendar! I would use with much vim & vigor if events could be flagged as "Public" and thus automatically show up on our website. So this would not just be useful for job events, but actually work for any and all our corporate public events (ie. Open Houses, community events, closures, late openings etc. )
This would happen the same way as job postings now. IOW - You could provide the HTML code for an iFrame area that we could insert into the desired webpage.

Date Range For Reports
It would be nice if reports could be run by date range.
